Prayers and Support
Prayers and Support During Lock Down
‘We are in unprecedented times’ seems to be something we are hearing a lot about on the news and, indeed, these are strange times. As a teacher I can say that I am missing being in school and teaching 6th form so much and I cannot wait until things ‘go back to normal’. Until then, we are left struggling on in our situations trying to find a new normality and way of carrying on. Parents are becoming full time teachers, as well as doing their usual work. People are worried about their jobs, businesses and finances… Families are separated, people are isolated but we at Hutton want you to know that you are not alone.
As a Christian school we want you to know that we pray for you all regularly; you and your child’s welfare is so important to us. With this in mind we have created this page of our website as a source of comfort for you. We hope that you will use it to connect with God, if you have a faith, or connect with the spiritual aspect of life, if you are of non-faith. You will find prayers, reflections, inspirational and motivational quotes as well as links to people who might be able to help you if you have a specific need.
