Hutton Church of England Grammar School provides the perfect venue for Community Sport Events, Meetings, Training sessions and Conferences.
Based in South Ribble, we are very accessible from all parts of the city of Preston and nearby motorways.
Our facilities are available after school, at weekends and during school holidays.
All facilities for hire have disabled access, with lift access available to the upper floor of the Sixth Form Centre and our Gymnasium in the Sports Centre. We have parking for 100 cars with overflow parking also available.
Our Sports Hall can accommodate badminton, basketball, netball courts, indoor cricket and football. In addition we have a small fitness room and Gymnasium available for hire.
Outdoors we can offer football and rugby pitches, as well as all-weather courts for tennis, netball, hockey and football.
Assembly Hall and Dining Hall
Our school hall can seat up to 200 people. These rooms are ideal for large meetings and events such as drama productions. In our Dining Hall there is a small serving hatch for refreshments and seating can be set out to your requirements, up to a maximum of 230 seats.
Class Rooms and Community Room
We have a number of classrooms available for hire which seat 32 people and are equipped with an interactive whiteboard. We also have some fully equipped ICT rooms, containing at least 20 computers.
Sixth Form Centre
This offers an array of usages including a multi-purpose performance room, meeting rooms, a fully equipped ICT suite and a small seated dining area. The Sixth Form Centre rooms are ideal for meetings, training sessions and conferences.
Performing Arts Centre
This building offers a Dance Studio and a Theatre Room.
Booking the facilities
You will be required to fill in an application form, a safeguarding agreement and a risk assessment form. It is an essential requirement that you have appropriate public liability insurance to cover liabilities for accidents resulting in injuries to persons (including your participants), and/or loss of or damage to school property. The minimum limit for this insurance cover is £2 million. You will also need to state whether your club or group is a member of any professional organisation. A copy of your certificate of insurance should be attached along with your application documents which can be downloaded below.
