HUTTON SIXTH FORM STUDENTS CONTINUE TO EXCEL!

Hutton Grammar School Sixth Form students are once again celebrating excellent A-level results, maintaining the school’s long-standing reputation for academic excellence and personal achievement.

Students across a wide range of subjects were rightly rewarded for their hard work and dedication over the past two years, as they now begin the next exciting chapter in their journeys.

Particular successes were seen in English and Computing, where 50% of students achieved A*- A grades. History students also excelled, with 100% attaining A*- C grades. While all Religious Studies students achieved a well-deserved A grade.

Hutton’s outstanding results highlight the strength of its tailored approach to each student’s education. As a sixth form, it continues to flourish by maintaining small class sizes and fostering a close-knit, supportive environment. This enables Hutton Sixth Form to deliver a genuinely holistic educational experience, helping every student succeed—even when navigating difficult circumstances.

Head Teacher Nicola Moran commented:

"I have been so impressed and humbled by the way in which our students have approached their A Level studies. They are an absolute credit and very much deserve these impressive results. We have a proud tradition of academic excellence which we continue to maintain and once again we are delighted with the accomplishments of our students in a wide range of A Level subjects. There have been some exceptional results with many achieving top grades and successfully progressing to the next stages of their careers, be that at prestigious Universities or the world of work. Students and staff have worked incredibly hard over the last twelve months, supported as always by dedicated parents and carers, and we are very proud of all they have achieved.

Our Year 12 students have also laid excellent foundations for the coming year and I am sure they will continue to push themselves in trying to emulate or surpass those who have just left.

I would like, once again, to thank the staff for continually going the extra mile for the students, parents and carers for their continued support and all our Year 13 students for always giving of their best; their hard work and dedication has clearly paid dividends. We wish them all the very best in the future."
