Psychology is the science of the mind and behaviour. You'll explore fascinating topics like:

You'll also learn how psychologists research and explain complex human behaviours through experiments and theories.
How is this subject taught?
Psychology at Hutton is taught by experienced teachers, some of whom are AQA examiners. Lessons are interactive, discussion-based, and supported with great resources.
In Year 1, you'll study topics like memory, social influence, psychopathology, and research methods.
In Year 2, you'll go deeper into topics like forensic psychology, gender, schizophrenia, and key debates in psychology.
You’ll have:

An internal assessment at the end of Year 1

Three A Level exams at the end of Year 2
We also run a Psychology Clinic at lunchtime for extra help and revision support.
