Open Evening and Sixth Form Visits

Our Open Evening took place on Thursday 23rd October 2025. If you were unable to attend on the night, or would like to visit during the school day, you can book an individual appointment. Please contact Miss Shepherd at c.shepherd@huttongrammar.co.uk to arrange a visit.

If you would like to meet with our SENDCo before applying, please get in touch with Mrs Frost at g.frost@huttongrammar.co.uk, who will be happy to arrange a suitable time.

Application Process

Applications open during Open Evening and remain open until the end of February 2026. We encourage students to apply within this window so interviews can take place before GCSE exams begin. Late applications will still be accepted after this date.

When applying, you'll be asked to tell us about your current studies, the A Level subjects you're interested in we will also ask you a bit about yourself and your future plans.

We’ll use the contact details you provide to stay in touch throughout the application process.

Interview

Your Sixth Form interview is an important part of the application. It’s a relaxed, one-to-one conversation where we’ll talk about your achievements, subject choices, and future goals.

The interviews will take place from during February, March and April. Most interviews will be with Mr Hill or Miss Yule, and where possible, we’ll visit you at your current school. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and find out more about life at Hutton Sixth Form.

If you have any specific requirements for your interview, please let us know — we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
