Pupil Premium & Catch Up Premium

Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools based on the number of students who have been in receipt of Free School Meals in the last six years or are Looked After.

This money is used to support these students and ensure that there are no barriers to their achievements at school.

A summary of how we used our Pupil Premium allocation in the 2017-18 financial year and its impact can be downloaded here.

A summary of how we intend to use our 2018-19 Pupil Premium allocation, the rationale behind this and when we will review it can be downloaded here

If your child is eligible and you would like to find out more about how we use the Pupil Premium, please contact the school.

Catch up Premium

For 2017-18, the school was awarded £2500 of catch up premium funding. Catch up premium is awarded to help support students who arrive at secondary school with below expected levels in English and/or Maths at Key Stage 2.

The money is used to fund intervention strategies designed to develop skills and confidence, ensuring targeted students better access to the curriculum.
