BSc Geography graduate wins The Wellington Medal
Heather Needham, BSc Geography graduate, has been announced as the 2021 winner of The Wellington Medal. The award recognises the studentās excellent academic achievements and contributions to Kingās during their time at university and their potential for the future. The Wellington Medal is awarded each year to one outstanding undergraduate student at Kingās College London in the year of their graduation. The award recognises high academic achievements and other contributions the student has made during their time at university to acknowledge their impressive future potential.

A brilliant firstĀ debateĀ of the year on whether monuments to controversial figures should remain. A finely balanced contest was won by Olivia Wilkinson and Ben LathamĀ againstĀ Adam Bluck and Alex Fowler. Well done to all involved and some excellent questions from the audience too - special mention to Ed Cullen for strong contributions.Ā

Reading List Scholarship
Albert Blak - who has just finished his 2 years at Hutton Sixth Form studying Law, Psychology and Religious Studies - has won the Reading List Foundation scholarship. This was awarded for to Albert for his resilience and diligent approach to studies. He will receive £250 worth of books from Blackwells which will help him make a great start to his degree at Durham University where he is reading Psychology. Well done Albert and good luck at university!
