    Hutton Grammar School athletes have been making headlines across the region with an outstanding run of success in recent weeks. From team triumphs to individual excellence, the summer athletics season is shaping up to be one of the school’s best yet. Year 8 Boys Crowned North West Champions!Our Year 8 Athletics team travelled to Stanley Park, Blackpool to compete in the English Schools North West 'B' Final, going up against 11 other schools from across the region. In a display of determination and teamwork, the boys excelled, scoring an incredible 342 points, which secured them 1st place overall — a remarkable achievement!

  • Little Shop of Horrors

    The cast and crew of Little Shop of Horrors delivered an incredible show that captivated audiences for three nights and one matinee performance. Our talented performers gave up their evenings and weekends to work on the show and their dedication and hard work truly shone through. A special thank you must go to the team of staff who made the production possible: Mrs. Massey, Mr. Pemberton, Miss Macdiarmid, and Miss Thompson. Their efforts and support ensured that everything ran smoothly behind the scenes.

  • Ash Wednesday

    Bishop Phillip visited our school to lead the Ash Wednesday service, which was attended by our Year 7 pupils. He spoke about the sacrifices both Christians and Muslims make during time. During break time, the Hutton Grammar Collective performed for him in our chapel, adding to the special occasion.

  • Axia Learning Alliance Public Speaking Competition

    We were privileged to host the Axia Learning Alliance Public Speaking Competition for our local primary schools. Year 5 pupils across the area were challenged to answer the question "What is the greatest invention?" Three of our year 7 pupils started the event by presenting their ideas.
